I wandered into hubpages two and a half years ago and so glad I did. I love it here! The community is accepting and generous and I've made many friends. My goal in being here is to improve my writing skills and try out new genres and styles of writing. I also can be found at Examiner.com and blogging on one of my four blogs.

Since I have been here, I have had the pleasure of being voted the #1 hugnugget winner on May 27, 2009, only a couple of months after I arrived here on hubpages, with my hub, He wore a Dashiki, a personal piece about Miles Davis, and had the priviledge of being interviewed by Emohealer in the January 2, 2010 Newsletter. I then got the chance to interview Cindy Vine, a wonderful writer and hubber, the following week.
